Some speak of their cuisine, others of their decoration, and still others, of the peace and tranquillity of the setting; the children speak of their play area and garden... and also of the attention...
But we want to speak of love. Of the love for the past, the love of building, the love of... We have tried to make the Hotel the very best we could, always doing things as well as we possibly could, “with good judgment”, always with both feet firmly planted on the ground, yet also with love.
Love because it was the land of our ancestors, since before 1600; love because it was the work of a lifetime for our parents. And love for an old idea.
Cypress trees planted at the entrance to old Country houses used to be a sign of welcome: One cypress tree meant that "bread and wine" were offered; two cypress trees meant a full meal was on offer and three cypress trees meant that you could also stay for the night. Continuing in this tradition, you are welcome at our house.
